NOT FOR SALE

I am writing to address the email we sent in mid-May, in which we promoted (and implicitly supported) the work of the artist known as Davezilla.

Unfortunately it has been brought to our attention that the author espouses and even actively promotes the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to produce this work.

La Panthère Studio has a firm anti-generative-AI policy, and we try very hard (apparently sometimes we fail) to carry products that are fully authentic and human-centered. We recognize that our products — even the whimsical ones — serve a very intimately personal purpose. They should be made with careful and loving hands.

We will not be carrying these products in the future and will keep this message up for a short time to address any visitors who were seeking the deck.

Thanks for being patient with this small business, as we are working artists and quite human! Which means we mess up sometimes.
